Public sculptor & local artist Ivan McLean is known for his spheres like the large Red Sphere in our Landmark sculpture garden on Spruce. He has his Spheres at the World Trade Center in Long Beach California & a very large one for the new Newport Beach Sculpture Park in California.Working with architects & developers with the sought after sculptor creates another level of business opportunities for the gallery. Currently Ivan is working on a seven foot version of the stainless steel sculpture with a developer. His kiln formed glass projects include the Nines Hotel in Portland and the glass windows at 11th & Hoyt in Portland. For Cannon Beach the sculptor created the garbage cans and wrote some of the amusing limericks along with his father in law Brian who wrote for and was a producer for the popular TV Show Laugh In .
