Stormy Weather Arts Festival – November 5, 6 & 7

American Masters. Regional Artists.

A collectors selection of the noted Public Sculptors work is featured for the Arts Festival.

Meet Laura O’Brien from 2 to 3pm on November 6. (A Contemporary Painter working in oils and acrylics . Her Paintings of Haystack Rock and the natural wonders of Oregon are celebrated and collected nationally.) 

Festival Favorite Bobcat Bob joins us from 3 to 5pm on guitar – a benefit for the Food Bank & Animal Shelter.

Georgia Gerber.

Bronze sculptor & noted public artist presents a collector’s selection of bronze sculpture. Gerber created “Hummingbird” for the exhibition. Hummingbirds are a symbol of Joy.

Christopher Burkett.

Fine Art Film Photography. Burkett has been featured on the PBS NEWSHOUR Weekend with an eight and a half minute bio on the traditional darkroom as the lead story.

Ivan McLean.

Ivan McLean is known for his stainless steel “Sphere” & “Re-Invention.” His works are featured in the NW By NW Gallery Sculpture Garden on Spruce . McLean’s work is at the Nike Campus in Oregon, Field Park in Portland’s Pearl District, World Trade Center in Los Angeles, and the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. Being in the heart of Cannon Beach on Spruce street allows us to have a Gallery Sculpture Garden.

NW By NW Gallery artists also include Bronze Sculptor Ann Fleming, a figurative bronze sculptor with Public Works. Hazel Schlesinger paintings of Haystack Rock are cherished. Her work has been twice featured in SW Art Magazine and is seen in movie and TV series around the world. Angelita Surmon’s Kiln Formed Glass is in the permanent Collection of the Portland Art Museum & Yale. And Laura O’Brien has been painting for fifty years. Her love of Cannon Beach is clearly seen in her work .
