Burkett shows in very few venues. Christopher Burkett’s photographs have been exhibited at the Portland Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts Boston , Center for Creative Photography, Tucson Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Berheim Arboretum & Research Forest in Kentucky.  

Christopher Burkett’s Fine Art Photographs have been shown side by side numerous times with Ansel Adams who instructed him in traditional darkroom techniques. He has had the pleasure of teaching in Ansel Adams darkroom.

Oregon master fine art photographer Christopher Burkett has been included in three new museum collections within the last year.  The Nelson Atkins Museum of Fine Art in Kansas City now owns a museum size work valued at thirty five thousand dollars.  Burkett collectors include Graham Nash Collection, Wendell Berry Conservation Writer & President Jimmy Carter.

Each of Burkett’s works are individually crafted by hand with film and have been resold at Sothebys & Bonhams Auction Houses attesting to their value as original works of art.

The photographs shown here are all taken in Oregon. 

In two years the artist’s photographs will be eligible for the Getty Museum (40 year career).
